| As you all know, we have
been looking at ways to increase the ability of our members to have their
say in how the CFA is run. As a result we ran the
2007 AGM online via an internet chatroom. While we realise that
not everyone has a computer with broadband internet connection we felt
that this was an enormous step forward in improving participation in
the AGM. The minutes of last
year's AGM are available to view by
CFA members on the Members Only section of the website. (Please
remember that you must register in order to use this part of the
website. If you want to register please send an email to
cfa@cfa-international.org
requesting a username and password).
We will be doing the same this year on
9th September 2008, at 15.00 BST/14.00 GMT
(Please note that this date represents a postponement of the planned
meeting on 4th September). If you would like to take part in this
year's meeting please complete the following steps:
- Download the free software
that we will be using, Skype, from
www.Skype.com or by clicking
here.
- Register by sending an email
to
cfa@cfa-international.org stating that you wish to take part in
the AGM.
- Get the Agenda by clicking
here. (Reports relevant
to the meeting are posted on the Members
Only section of the website).
Instructions on how to take part will
be sent to all members who register.
Please remember that members are entitled
to submit nominations for Governing Council members to their relevant
Regional Coordinators. We
