Description
A3P is the peak national body representing plantation growers, solid wood processors and paper manufacturers.
Our role
*Represent the collective national interests of A3P members to Government and other stakeholders as
required.
*Increase the market for Australian made plantation products and paper.
*Promote a policy and regulatory environment that provides certainty and incentives for investment in
the industry.
*Identify and disseminate information to A3P members on technical, commercial, regulatory and policy
issues of relevance to priority areas.
*Provide technical and market development support to the solid wood processing members.
A3P members
*A3P members include the major plantation growers, solid wood processors and paper manufacturers in
Australia.
*A3P members employ more than 13,500 people in plantations, sawmills and paper manufacturing plants,
mainly in rural and regional areas.
*A3P members create and sell more than $4 billion of products, produce more than 12 million cubic metres
of logs, 3 million cubic metres of sawn timber and more than 2 million tonnes of paper.
