Description
Doctors for Forests is a group that started in 2001 with the aim of protecting Tasmania’s old growth
forests.
Doctors for Forests is not allied with any political party. The group currently has 678 members including
Specialists, General Practitioners, Resident Medical Officers, other Health Professionals and
Medical Students. We are open to all members of the community
We call for the end to logging in high conservation value old-growth forests as identified by the Tasmania
Together process, and the management of the remaining old-growth forests must be urgently
reviewed.
