Description
Objectives: ISDE`s mission is to create a positive socio- economical change of the under developed and
disadvantaged communities especially among women and children through awareness raising,
health, non-formal education and income earning and self-employment generation activities. Its strategies
are to: 1] build confidence and hope of life and self-reliance of the under developed
disadvantaged and deprived people through organization building; [2] increase awareness levels through
education and motivation; [3] develop maternal and child health status through primary health
service, MCH FP, STD/AIDS prevention and nutrition education; [4] creation of income earning and self
employment generation opportunities by providing credit and technical assistance; [5]
develop environmental equilibrium through social forestation and regenerative agriculture; [6] promoting
the universal child rights convention[CRC] through awareness raising, education and
rehabilitation; [7] reduce unexpected deaths and effects of disaster through disaster preparedness and
management activities.
