Description
ForestEthics protects Endangered Forests by transforming the paper and wood industries in North America
and by supporting forest communities in the development of conservation-based
economies.
Our mission and our goals, and were one of the lead organizations in establishing protection of the
Great Bear Rainforest, one of the largest conservation measures in the world protecting over four
million acres of British Columbia's rainforests. ForestEthics then achieved another major win in Chile,
home to 25% of the world's temperate rainforests, as we convinced the two largest timber
companies to stop logging the native forests that they control—an area of over one million acres.
