Description
The membership of the CLA is divided into four bureaus primarily servicing the softwood and hardwood
lumber manufacturing community. The Wood Products Manufacturing & Inspection Bureau
(WPMIB) is comprised of softwood lumber manufacturers, the Wholesale & Export Bureau (W&Ex)
includes softwood wholesalers and exporters, the Hardwood Bureau is comprised of hardwood
manufacturers, hardwood flooring manufacturers, hardwood wholesalers, etc., and Associates are members
that do not per se manufacture lumber, but provide products and services to the lumber
industry.
