Description
Discovery Avenue's vision is to build a culture of patriotism and national pride by the year 2020. Young
people are leaders in conserving Malawi's natural resources and cultural heritage thereby
preserving it for prosperity. All activities will bend much towards the National Youth Policy and the
attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
The group aims at promoting and preserving the country's natural heritage and the involvement of young
people in local tourism and conserving the environment by employing youth friendly tools.
Through fashion shows and public events, Discovery Avenue strives to promote cultural diversity and
unity amongst young people who are mostly divided by political, tribal and regional factions.
