Description
Tazama! Trust is a non-profit, non-government organization (NGO) whose primary goal is the protection
and conservation of natural resources and wildlife in Tanzania East Africa . Creating a forum
for dialogue between Tanzania 's indigenous people, farmers, conservationists, tour operators, developers
and the government, Tazama! Trust establishes the cooperation necessary for all groups to
manage resources in a mutually beneficial manner.
Tazama! Trust also assists the villages that live near wildlife areas in Natural Resource Management
thus combining Community Education and Training in this regard. This allows the local communities
whose land is rich with wildlife to more knowledgeably participate (which to date they have not been
able to) in any decision-making, which affects the use of the Natural Resources on their land.
Tazama! Trust succeeds in finely balancing the needs of people with the survival of wildlife and its
environment.
