Description
The Agroforestry Research Trust is a non-profit making charity, registered in England, which researches
into temperate agroforestry and into all aspects of plant cropping and uses, with a focus on
tree, shrub and perennial crops.
Activity
Produce several publications and a quarterly journal, sell various other relevant books, and also sell
plants (particularly fruit and nut trees and bushes), seeds and Rootrainer growing containers.
To research into temperate agroforestry, trees, shrubs and other crops and to publish results in its
journal and books.
Practical research about small scale agroforestry, forest gardening, companion tree cropping etc. Demonstration:
A two acre demonstration forest garden was started in South Devon in 1994. An 8
acre trials site was started in south Devon in 1996. Information: To inform interested parties about
