Description
The Scottish Forest Alliance (SFA) is a world class woodland conservation project uniting BP, Forestry
Commission Scotland, the Woodland Trust Scotland and RSPB Scotland in a unique
collaboration designed to span a remarkable two centuries.
Our Objectives
The Scottish Forest Alliance is committed to:
The regeneration and expansion of native woodlands in Scotland
Contributing towards the UK targets for forest and woodland biodiversity
Promoting social and economic gains for local communities and the wider population of Scotland
The evaluation, research and demonstration of the contribution of sustainable forest projects to carbon
sequestration in Scotland.
