Pirgonj Reserve Forest

Bangladesh

The High Commission for Bangladesh, on behalf of the Government, committed Bangladesh to the QCC, nominating the Pirgonj Reserve Forest (500 acres) as its dedication. The principle objective of the forest is to conserve natural Sal forest, providing various ecosystems and benefits to the local community through non-timber forest products.
