Thotayamarula Forest Conservation Area

The Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism, Tshekedi S. Khama, confirmed Botswana’s participation in the QCC. The Ministry’s Director, M. Manthe-Tsuaneng, confirmed Thotayamarula Forest Conservation Area as the project site for Botswana’s dedication.
The Thotayamarula Forest Conservation Area covers 192 hectares constituting a diverse array of plant species that produce various edible fruits.
The conservation area is managed by a Community Trust, made up by members of 5 surrounding villages.
